Parcels overview
How parcels work in Koru and what you can do with them.
A parcel is the smallest unit of land Koru tracks. Every activity, treatment, plan, and report rolls up to a parcel.
What's stored on a parcel
- Geometry (the polygon)
- Crop and variety
- Soil information (if you've added an analysis)
- Activity history
- Treatment zones (optional sub-areas)
- Field notes
Importing vs drawing
Most farms come into Koru via PAC upload, which creates every parcel automatically. If you don't have a PAC file, you can add parcels manually from the map screen.
Editing a parcel
Open any parcel from the map. The right-hand drawer lets you edit the name, crop, variety, and soil data. Geometry is locked unless you specifically choose Edit shape.
